Tennisclub "Evald Kree Sportsworld" teaches tennis using the blend of classical and innovative ideas in order to make the learning experience efficient and fun for all levels and age groups. Our experienced coaching staff gives lessons to begginers as well as professional players. All our coaches have played on a competitive level, have participated in a number of workshops and have extensive teaching experience not only in the areas of tennis technique, but also in fitness, mental preparation and strategy. Year round we have more 180 students practising in our tennisclub. Our courses, camps and lessons have improved the skills of promising young talents, experienced tournament players, as well as the, "weekend warriors".

2004

Every year the board of Estonian Tennis Association and the Coaches Committe select the best 4 players(2 youth players and 2 professionals) and a coach of the year. Last year "Evald Kree Sportsworld" was honored to have 3 of its players selected as the best players of the year:file107_maret_ja_kaia_olympial

  • Youth Player of The Year, 2004 (Girls) - Anet Kaasik
  • Youth Player of The Year, 2004 (Boys) - Jaak Põldma
  • Female Player of The Year, 2004 - Maret Ani

Our men´s team (V.Ivanov, M.Koppel, A.Angerjärv, T.Jõgi ja R.Seer) was very successful in the Estonian Club Championships, they reached the final. Unfortunately our women´s team was unable to participate this year, due to the busy international tournament schedule (WTA, ITF) of our top players. 2004 was also exceptionaly impressive for our top player, Maret Ani. She made it to the Estonian history books by being the first Estonian female tennisplayer ever to reach the semifinals in the Australian Open (she played doubles with L.Prusova). Maret also had a chance to represent her country (together with Kaia Kanepi)  in the Olympics in Athens.
